“1 place and 14400 seconds”

Is a four hours performance where the audience is taken blinded to locations that have been affected by environmental crimes. It is a silent and collective protest, to reflect on environmental degradation in public spaces. This performance is not about meditation or contemplation: is about using the body as a statement and protest in time and space,
In this performance you are moved, by standing still you feel the power of immobility to set things in motion and you feel the need to act.
Moreover, these series of performances was part of a longer research initiated in 2012 within APASS studies, on cities as urban bodies, where cities were analyzed in a form of organs such as development and growth (uterus), pharmacy industry (kidneys), agriculture (stomach), meat production (intestine), Gmo’s (reproductive organs), industrialization-polution (lungs), consumerism ( Brain), market (spleen), nature ( heart), waste (pancreas), water (bladder).
